A Person-Centred Approach to Mental Health
I am a person-centred counsellor, which means I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change. It is my priority to ensure you feel safe to be open and honest.

Choosing the right counsellor is important. Your counsellor should be someone you can trust and feel comfortable with. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can speak freely and be yourself.
I work with empathy and care, seeking to understand your experiences from your perspective. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns, helping you develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience in order to move through life issues.

A Safe Space to Talk
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth when given the right environment. While I can’t change what has happened or give you all the answers, I can support you in making sense of your experiences and finding your own way forward. Talking openly with someone impartial who truly listens can be a powerful step towards feeling more grounded, confident, and connected.

Relate. Be understood.
Grow.

Anxiety

Anxiety can be debilitating and impact all aspects of your life. Psychotherapy can help you understand the roots of your anxiety and loosen its grip on you and your daily life.

Trauma
Trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed and/or disconnected. Psychotherapy can help you process your trauma and find ways to move through it.
Relationship Issues
Relationships can be challenging at times and impact your mental health. Psychotherapy can help you navigate difficulties, improve your communication skills, address unresolved conflict and offer a greater sense of who you are on your own and within the relationship, giving you insight into what is needed for a healthier relationship and how to attain it.

Stress
Stress can leave you feeling overwhelmed and physically unwell. Everyone faces stress at some point in their life, but it doesn't have to control you. Talking with a counsellor can reduce your stress levels and improve your overall well-being, to enable you to regain control of your life.
Grief and Loss
Feelings of grief and loss can be present even without a bereavement. It can be a painful and isolating experience. Counselling provides an opportunity to process your emotions, find ways to accept and cope with your loss and adapt to life afterwards.
